Named after the majestic Hida Mountain Range in central Japan, where I dreamed up this design on a snowy winter hot spring trip, these pants are the embodiment of elevated everyday.
Indisputably comfortable, yet classy enough you'll feel dressed up.
We have a smattering of sizes remaining in naturally dyed but we won't be dyeing any more. Due to this fabric being no longer available, this is the last batch of Hidas in this fabric.
INGREDIENTS: Organic sepia french terry, elastic waistband, GOTS certified organic thread
PROCESS: Grown in New Mexico, spun & knit in North Carolina, sewn at a fair-pay, woman-owned factory in San Francisco, California
SIZING: Check out our garment measurements + FAQs for help choosing your best fit.
CARE: To get the most life out of your garment and do what is best for the earth, machine wash cold & line dry. Because the only option to pre-shrink our fabric was a toxic chemical wash, we intentionally designed our clothes to shrink a bit the first wash. Full details here. And don't worry - these are durable clothes that are easy to care for! Plus, we even accept garments back after you wash and wear them.
END OF LIFE: If it's in decent shape, you can send it to our Infinite Returns Program for a second life, but if it's threadbare, snip out and trash the elastic waistband and add the remainder (all fabric + thread) to your compost pile. It will decompose into components that nourish the soil.
